Truck Types
You use the Truck types tab to define the parameters of the trucks that haul the material from one location to another.
When you define truck parameters, you can report the total truck hours and number of trucks required for each period.
Columns in the Truck Types Data Grid

Description |
| Name |
The name of the truck type. |
| Tonnes per load |
The average mass of the full load capacity of the truck. |
| Availability |
The percentage of time that the truck is available.
For example, a value of 50 would mean that the truck is available half of the day, or 12 hours.

| Utilisation |
The percentage of time that the truck is used to perform its duty.
|
| Efficiency |
The percentage of time that the truck is not queuing or affected by other operational delays. |
| Spotting & loading |
The average time, in minutes, between when an empty truck arrives in the loading position and when it departs with a full load. |
| Turning & dumping |
The average time, in minutes, between when a full truck arrives at its destination and when it is empty and ready to depart. |
| Comments |
The comments that you want to record for the truck type.
